FP-6300 High Sensitivity Fluorescence Spectrometer
Designed for both routine and research applications the FP-6300 combines a highly sensitive spectrometer with a range of accessories and JASCO's unique cross-technique PC-based Windows® software Spectra Manager™. High Quality Optical SystemThe compact optical design of the FP-6300 employs high quality components designed around a DC powered 150W Xenon lamp which is contained within a sealed housing. The lamp output is monitored and maximum stability is ensured by the use of a reference silicon photodiode which monitors the source output and automatically compensates for any minor variation in lamp intensity. The FP-6300 provides excellent sensitivity with a S\N specification of 550:1. FP-6300 optical layout schematicThe spectrometer consists of excitation and emission holographic monochromators optimized for the UV. Scanning speeds are step variable from 20 nm/min to 10,000 nm/min with a slewing speed of 30,000 nm/min. Variable spectral bandwidths of 2.5, 5, 10, and 20 nm are available on both excitation and emission monochromators. The wavelength range provided by the FP-6300 is 220 nm to 750 nm which can be further extended from 200 nm to 900 nm with the WRE-362 optional red sensitive PMT. System versatility and flexibilityThe FP-6300 can be used for a wide variety of fluorescence applications. Spectra Manager™ SuiteSpectra Manager™ is a fully-integrated 32-bit PC software package that can be used to control the FP-6300. Spectra Manager™ provides a wide range of advanced features and functions that allow precise measurement and detailed data analysis via a user-friendly operating environment. Spectra Manager TM is designed to be used with other JASCO spectroscopic products including FTIR, UV/VIS, CD spectrometers and Polarimetry. It allows data obtained from a variety of instruments to be viewed, analyzed, displayed and printed together for comparison and publication. The software is fully multi-tasking allowing accurate data acquisition even whilst simultaneously running other programs or when controlling other JASCO instruments. GLP/GMP complianceThe FP-6300 was designed to meet the requirements of GLP/GMP compliance using optional validation tools and software. The FP-6300 validation program is based upon JAIMAS to provide the following tests:
