Want to squeeze as much information as possible from your precious sample? Why not use your CD instrument to do several jobs for you! The J-815 configured with the PFD-452S Peltier cell holder, FMO-427 EM Monochromator, Titrator and Macro software will enable acquisition of CD data simultaneous with Fluorescence data during thermal melts and chemical denaturation studies.
Increased Performance
JASCO has worked very hard to squeeze the very best out of the J-815's optical bench. We still use the proven design of dual prism optics, but a new 150 watt air cooled lamp housing provide remarkable stability and low maintenance cost. The power supply is fully integrated to save bench space - the J815 takes the same bench space as an any advanced UV-Vis spectrophotometer.

Powerful Experimental Design
Using the single or six position peltier temerature thermostatted cell holder, you can design experiments to monitor any aspect of protein folding. The optional side entry port allow the simultaneous measurement of total fluorescence or fluorescence detected CD FCD.
Titrations can be automatically controlled using the automatic titrator with control by Macro Manager to design your own custom experiments.
The addition of a Biologic SFM-20 or one of the other Biologic units can add the facility to perform rapid kinetics or quench flow experiments.
The 4 channel insterface means that you can acquire much more data than before, you just need to design the experiment to make the most of this new flexible system!

Spectra Manager is an innovative approach to a cross-platform package setting a new standard for ease of use and allowing users to work seamlessly between several different types of instrumentation. Spectra Manager CFR includes all the features required to comply with FDA 21CFR11 requirements.
